   PHILOSOPHY IN PRACTICE

   Developing Skills for Creative Lives

At Pink Box, we see philosophy not only as an academic discipline, but as a practical approach to developing a rich set of skills — from critical thinking and creativity to meaningful communication and emotional resilience. These capacities help artists, creatives, educators, and project leaders navigate complexity, express ideas with clarity, and sustain their work with purpose and confidence.

We translate philosophical thinking into engaging learning formats that support individuals and teams in refining their ideas, deepening reflection, and strengthening collaborative practice. We do this through workshops, trainings, coaching, and co-creative processes — both in person and online.

We are open to partnerships with educational institutions, creative schools, professional development programmes, and international projects in the Cultural and Creative Sectors across Europe.

Why Bring Philosophical Skills into CCSI Education?

1. Philosophy as a Foundation of Creative Work

Both philosophy and art explore the world through questioning, abstraction, and the search for meaning. By developing philosophical skills, creatives learn to structure complex ideas, communicate with depth, and manage misunderstandings — essential in collaborative and interdisciplinary projects.

2. Critical Thinking for Innovation
In a sector facing rapid change, new technologies, and rising expectations, philosophical training offers grounding. It supports reflection, helps creatives act as their own curators or dramaturgs, and nurtures authenticity and adaptability — critical for innovation and professional sustainability.

3. Resilience and Emotional Awareness
The cultural sector can be emotionally intense. Philosophical thinking helps individuals manage uncertainty, criticism, and pressure with confidence and openness — fostering mental wellbeing and long-term creative energy.

What We Offer: Formats for Collaboration

We are ready to co-create and contribute to collaborative project by offering:

  • Interactive modules, workshops or coaching focused on training philosophical skills for students, creatives, and educators

  • Train-the-trainer sessions for teachers and facilitators in creative education

  • Curriculum design contributions, integrating philosophical perspectives into existing learning pathways

  • Reflective spaces within residencies, learning programmes or labs — we facilitate “thinking sessions” that foster clarity and purpose

  • Micro-credential development in critical and philosophical thinking for CCSI

   About Pink Box

Pink Box is a platform founded in 2021 that develops the thinking and skills of both children and adults through philosophy.

We design and deliver workshops, trainings, consultations, and coaching that make philosophical thinking accessible, practical, and transformative. As part of exhibitions and public programs, we facilitate philosophical workshops for children, adults, and multi-generational groups.

We have created our own interactive traveling exhibition and actively collaborate with cultural and educational institutions such as the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region (GASK), the City Gallery Prague (GHMP), and the French Institute in Prague.

We are members of the Association of Social Responsibility and the uMĚNÍM platform, and we also publish philosophical books (not only) for children, promoting philosophical literacy across generations.

Barbora Fialová graduated in Theatre and Film Studies and is currently expanding her expertise through Aesthetic Education. She is dedicated to publishing books and exploring meaningful ways to apply art, philosophy, and creativity in everyday practice. Her focus lies in fostering children’s thinking and dialogue through philosophical inquiry with the youngest generation.

Jiří Bartoník graduated in Philosophy and Theology and trained in Philosophical Consultation at the Institut de Pratiques Philosophiques in Paris. He works with a wide range of clients across business, education, and the non-profit sector. Jiří facilitates group workshops and trainings, and supports individuals and teams through philosophical consultation and coaching. Within the arts, he also develops philosophical workshops connected to exhibitions, where dialogue serves as a bridge between artistic works and audiences.

Filip Celar has been engaged with personal development since his university studies, working as a trainer, coach, and manager of educational programmes. He was drawn to philosophy for its depth, honesty, and precision in exploring fundamental questions of human life. For him, philosophy became not only a way to cultivate thinking and personal transformation, but also a new professional path that connects learning, reflection, and creativity.
